Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti shuts down rumours of Benzema's return to Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, has vehemently denied reports suggesting the possible return of Karim Benzema to the club. These reports have circulated widely, causing a stir among football fans and pundits alike.

Ancelotti's strong denial, as reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, has added a layer of intrigue to this ongoing transfer saga.

Ancelotti: Karim Benzema's return to Real Madrid is fake news

Ancelotti has categorically labelled the reports of Karim Benzema's return to Real Madrid as "fake news." Speaking during his pre-game presser, he said: “Reports of Karim Benzema back to Real Madrid are fake. It’s fake news”.

His words have effectively put a damper on the hopes of Real Madrid fans who were excited about the possibility of seeing Benzema back in the white jersey

Bringing Benzema back was never an option

Furthermore, Ancelotti clarified that he had not engaged in any discussions with the club's management regarding Karim Benzema's potential return. “I did not speak to the club about Karim Benzema and potential return,” he said.

This denial challenges the credibility of previous reports that suggested talks were underway to bring the French striker back to the Santiago Bernabéu.
