El Clasico: Barcelona receive new jersey partners, team up with legendary British band Rolling Stones

The Blaugrana will debut a new commemorative kit ahead of the LaLiga fixture against Real Madrid next week

Barcelona will get to pay tribute to one of the most famous rock bands in music history when they play in LaLiga’s first El Clasico of the season after they received a new shirt partner from Spotify ahead of the clash with their arch-rivals. 

Barcelona team up with Rolling Stones

The Blaugrana play against Real Madrid on October 28, looking to overtake Los Blancos at the top of the LaLiga standings, and will have special support from one of the most iconic music groups ever. 

Barcelona’s shirt for this season’s first El Clasico will feature a famous image related to the British rock band the Rolling Stones, with the Blaugrana advertising the musical icons’ new album.

The Rolling Stones’ 26th studio album was released on October 20th, and Barcelona announced that they will partner with the band for the LaLiga against Real Madrid and a LaLiga F match against Sevilla. 

Barcelona to sell special jersey ahead of El Clasico 

Barcelona announced the collaboration, saying, "FC Barcelona and Spotify have done it again. The jersey that Barca will wear at El Clasico on October 28 will once again become an icon that will attract the attention of the whole world. 

"The Tongue and Lips logo of The Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood) will replace the Spotify logo on the legendary FC Barcelona kit."

Commemorative Jerseys will go on sale on October 23rd, ahead of the match against Real Madrid five days later.
