Mudryk has taken to Instagram to talk about his eagerness to play at Chelsea's iconic stadium

In a recent social media post, Chelsea's new boy Mykhailo Mudryk spoke of his eagerness to make his home debut at the Blues’ stadium.

The £88 million recruit took to Instagram to talk about his first game with his new club and share his anticipation for his first game in front of his new adoring fans.

According to him, while his Chelsea debut at Anfield was good, he could not wait to debut at Stamford Bridge.

Mudryk joined Chelsea this January from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk for a stunning fee after the London club pipped their neighbours, Arsenal, to the sensationally talented winger’s signature.

He had been an outspoken fan of Arsenal, but the Gunners were unable to secure a move for him, falling eventually to Chelsea’s financial superiority.

Mudryk's social media silence following the confirmation of his move to Chelsea was thought to be a thinly veiled disappointment at not being able to join Arsenal, but he has since resumed posting on Instagram, including two posts about his new club Chelsea.

Mudryk made his debut for Chelsea in their 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield, and the 22-year-old was the only shining light from either side in an otherwise drab encounter.

His electrifying pace and volatility were a joy to behold during his 35-minute cameo, and there is no doubt that the Stamford Bridge faithful can not wait to see Mudryk in action.

They could get their chance when Chelsea take on Fulham in another London derby on the 3rd of February. Both Mudryk and the fans must be counting down the days until they can finally be properly introduced to each other.
