Brighton's Italian manager warns his team will show their true colours against Arsenal.

Brighton's manager, Roberto de Zerbi, has fired a warning at Arsenal ahead of their Premier League clash this weekend, saying his team will show the stuff they are made of.

The Seagulls were on the wrong end of a 5-1 pummeling at the hands of Everton in what the Italian manager admits was a shocking result, but he promised a much-improved performance against the Gunners.

What De Zerbi said

The former Sassuolo manager was speaking after the thrashing at the hands of Sean Dyche's charges when he previewed the upcoming game against Premier League contenders Arsenal on Sunday.

He assured his team would show their true quality and style, as opposed to their lacklustre performance at home against relegation-threatened Everton.

He is confident his team will shake off today's performance, and against Arsenal, they will show their true qualities that have them punching above their weight this season and in line for a European place finish.

"I think on Sunday (against Arsenal), we will show our quality and be back to playing our style. You will see the true Brighton."
