Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi and Chelsea have endured a horror week after back-to-back heavy defeats in the Premier League.

Chelsea’s new signings Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi have suffered a week to forget after both were on the losing side in heavy defeats for the Blues.

Pulse Sports Nigeria can report the former AS Monaco defenders have been tagged as the ‘face of defeat’ after their images were used following heavy defeats to Liverpool and Wolves

Popular Nigerian photographer, Pooja Media, took to the social media platform, X.com, to tag both players as the ‘face of defeats’ for the Blues.

According to him, Badiashile was the face of defeat for Chelsea following an embarrassing defeat to title contenders Liverpool in midweek while Disasi followed after the humiliation to Wolves.

“Badashile from midweek, Disasi this week,” Pooja’s post said in part. “Face of defeats,’’ he added.

The comment by the photojournalist came after a six-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge between Chelsea and their visitors, Wolves.

Disasi, 25, was in action from start to finish as Matheus Cunha inspired Wolves to a shocking 4-2 with a remarkable hattrick.

The French man endured a day to forget as he contributed an own goal for Wolves while Badiashile, came on as a late substitute on Sunday.

Chelsea’s defeat to Wolves was the second game in a row Mauricio Pochettino’s men had conceded four times, with the Blues losing 4-1 to Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday.

Badiashile whose face was used by the Chelsea team at full time, started and ended the game at Anfield while Disasi, the face for the defeat to Wolves, did not make the trip to Merseyside.

Chelsea have now lost 10 matches this season and sit 11th in the Premier League standings with 31 points from 23 matches.
