Fans are furious with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after the Gunners lost at home to Manchester United on Sunday.

Arsenal suffered their first defeat at the Emirates Stadium this season following a 3-2 loss to Man United.

The Gunners failed to get back to seven points at the top of the table after seeing their title rivals Manchester City win on Sunday.

Following the loss, they dropped three points and are now four points above Man City and Aston Villa on the league table.

Fans react to loss

Fans were quick to take to social media to express their displeasure at Arteta after the Gunners lost to the Red Devils.

One fan said, “Lols...regardless of what happens this season...Arteta needs to walk...you are Moses...allow our Joshua to come abeg...we are done...get out abeg.”

Another fan responded, “We need to have a conversation about Arteta. This can’t be happening to us every season. If he doesn’t win the League this season, he should be sacked.”

A fan replied, “In 2 weeks, only 2 weeks. Look at how Carrick has transformed this United side, which is how they play football. “And yet you pathetic losers sit here and make excuses for a man who has been in charge at this club for 7 seasons. Get this cunt out of my club NOW.”

Another fan replied, “Hard to believe, but it looks like they lack the winning mentality when it matters most.

“I respect what Arteta has built at the Emirates, but when progress becomes stagnant, it kills hope. If he doesn’t win the EPL, then it’s time to build him a statue… and sack him.”

Arteta’s team have failed to take advantage of the points dropped by City and Villa in the last two EPL games, which could have taken them 11 points off their rivals.

And the recent loss to Michael Carrick’s team made things worse for the Gunners, with their title hopes now in jeopardy.
