Lehmann has departed the Serie A giants after just one season.
Alisha Lehmann has made a surprise transfer to Serie A side Como.
The 26-year-old Swiss star only joined Juventus a year ago from Aston Villa, helping the club secure a league and cup double in her debut season.
However, despite her on-pitch success, Lehmann is now looking for a fresh start.
This decision follows a difficult period that included limited playing time at Euro 2025 and criticism over her public celebrations.
Lehmann’s Juventus Career
Lehmann’s time at Juventus came with a fair share of controversy, particularly towards the end of her 2024-25 campaign, which was disrupted by fitness issues, as reported by Daily Mail.
After playing just 37 minutes all year, Lehmann was criticised for her alleged over-the-top celebrations following Juventus’s Serie A title victory over AC Milan.
While her jubilant teammates danced in formation on the field, Lehmann appeared to lead the celebrations at the front on her own, a move that touched a nerve with some supporters who felt her contribution to the team’s success was minimal.
Additionally, her experience at Euro 2025 was a difficult one, as she played only 10 minutes for host nation Switzerland, despite her enormous popularity.
The move to Como comes as she seeks to put these controversies behind her and focus on her career.
A fresh start at Como
Outlining her reasons for joining Como, Lehmann has expressed a desire to be part of a club with a specific vision for women’s football.
Speaking to The Guardian, she said: 'It's an independent club, fully focused on women's football – and that really matters to me.'
'From the start, I could see this wasn't just another team; it's a project with real purpose and vision,' she added.
The transfer marks a new chapter for Lehmann, but also introduces a new rival.
Alisha’s ‘world’s sexiest’ title is currently being contested with two footballers in the gunning.
Fans have hailed Swedish striker Alice Sondergaard as the 'world's sexiest footballer' after she completed her move to Genoa last month.
Sondergaard, 22, has already made waves at the top level and will now look to keep Genoa in the Italian top-flight after they were promoted for the very first time.
Meanwhile, rising teenage sensation Kiana Paloma Dufour has also been given the title due to her curvy physique.
The Brazilian-born, Quebec-raised starlet is committed to the Southern Miss Women’s Soccer Team, and now represents the Haiti national team at youth level.
