Barca Femeni star Asisat Oshoala is absolutely loving the new Nike Super Falcons kit ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia.

Ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023, American sportswear giants Nike unveiled new home and away jerseys for the Super Falcons of Nigeria team.

The nine-time African Champions will sport the new kits ahead of the July global showpiece in Australia and New Zealand as they prepare to compete in their ninth FIFA World Cup.

Super Falcons of Nigeria and Barcelona Femeni star Asisat Oshoala recently took to social media to show off photos of herself in the brand-new kits.

The 28-year-old four-time African Player of the Year winner took to her official Twitter page on Wednesday to show off some photos of herself sporting the new collection with a caption that read: ‘Lit @NGSuper_Falcons’

The new Super Falcons home jersey was produced in a striking green colour piece similar to the one worn by Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the 2002 World Cup.

The home kit also features the standard Nike collar design in white to reflect Nigeria’s colours.

It also features a unique pattern on the cuffs and socks which Nike says is based on “traditional Nigerian artwork and textiles.”

Oshoala who has been in blistering form for her club side Barcelona hopes to help the Super Falcons of Nigeria leave a lasting impression in Australia this July, by bringing her great form to Randy Waldrum’s team.

Meanwhile, Pulse Sports Nigeria reported that Asisat Oshoala was absent from the Super Falcons’ open camp ahead of their friendly matches against Haiti and New Zealand.

The nine-time African champions will play Haiti and New Zealand on April 7 and 11, respectively, as part of their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

About nine players were reported to have been present in camp but there was no sight of the team’s superstar Asisat Oshoala.

Oshoala has not played for Nigeria since the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco last year.

The Barcelona star missed Nigeria’s Revelation Cup campaign in Mexico last February, pulling out of the squad due to injury.
