Kelechi Iheanacho could reboot his career by joining Wilfred Ndidi at Beşiktaş, at least an ex-Super Eagles star believes sio.
Former Super Eagles striker Dominic Iorfa has backed Kelechi Iheanacho to thrive at Besiktas, amid strong links to the Turkish Super Lig club.
Iheanacho has been linked with a number of clubs this summer transfer window, with Besiktas being the latest. Iorfa believes a reunion between the former Manchester City man and Wilfred Ndidi, who recently signed for the Black Eagles, will propel the Sevilla man to shine there.

I liked them — Sevilla coach speaks positively about Iheanacho and Adams
Sevilla's new coach lauded Kelechi Iheanacho and Akor Adams after they shone in pre-season.
What Iorfa said
The retired Benue-born striker, who has 21 appearances for the Nigerian national team, had an interview with Africa Foot, in which he was quizzed about the reports linking Iheanacho to Besiktas, and he had the following to say.
“Turkey will be a nice place for him to go and show what he can do because I believe he still has a lot in him,” Iorfa said. “He has not been stable for a while, and I think that in Turkey, especially with Besiktas, he will finally get back among the goals.
“With Wilfred Ndidi already there and other Nigerians playing in Turkey, he will have no shortage of company, which will help him settle in quickly.
“If the move materialises, I am sure the Besiktas fans will love him. He is a skilful player who can score and create goals. I hope he gets the move and returns to regular first-team football again.”
Iheanacho’s transfer situation
The Super Eagles striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough. He failed to make his mark and returned to Sevilla for pre-season.
Los Nevionenses are seemingly resigned to selling Iheanacho this summer; however, the 28-year-old has been impressing new coach Matias Almeyda.
Still, an exit is being discussed, and Besiktas are one of the leading candidates for his signature, following the signing of his former Leicester City teammate, Ndidi.
