Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly set for a bonus upon reaching the 30-goal mark according to a clause in his contract
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen reportedly has a clause in his Napoli contract that will earn him a €260,000 (₦120,000,000) bonus if he scores 30 goals this season.
The 24-year-old has been in superb form for Napoli this season having scored 21 goals in 25 games across all competitions, 19 of those in 20 league matches.
The Nigerian is now nine goals away from reportedly netting a big financial reward from his club Napoli if he reaches the 30-goal mark this season.
Osimhen to get rewarded for 30 goals
Napoli Magazine reports per La Gazzetta dello Sport that Osimhen will be paid €260,000 which converts to just over ₦120,000,000 if he reaches 30 goals.

Osimhen signed his current contract with the clause included in 2020 when he joined Napoli for a club-record €72 million transfer fee from Lille.
Osimhen already earned €130,000 (₦60,000,000) for reaching 20 goals this season according to the clauses in his contract which guarantees him rewards for goals scored.
The report also reveals that there is another €130,000 (₦60,000,000) reward waiting for Osimhen at the 25-goal mark which is just four goals away.
Osimhen and his clauses
The Nigerian striker is just now reaping these rewards because he failed to trigger the clauses in each of his first two seasons at the club.

Osimhen only managed 10 goals in 30 games in what was an injury-laden debut season for Napoli, falling at least 10 goals short of the first clause.
The Nigerian improved in 2021/22, returning 18 goals in 32 games across all competitions for Napoli even though his season was still hampered by injuries.
Now in his third season, Osimhen is finally hitting the expected heights at Napoli with 21 goals so far in 25 games, already his most prolific season yet.
