Joshua had wasted no time in taking control against the former UFC heavyweight champion, flooring Ngannou heavily in the first round with a blistering right hand.

The Cameroonian, who was the overwhelming favourite for the bout by bookmarkers, beat the count but was soon on the receiving end of more vicious Joshua attacks.

A straight right hand in the second crashed home on Ngannou's jaw, leaving him dazed and gone as Nigeria's Joshua celebrated another win.

When the umpire ended the bout after just six minutes of action, Mourinho was one of the first to step forward and congratulate the victorious Joshua per a video on social media.

Jose Mourinho, Ronaldo, and Fury are celebrities in Saudi Arabia for the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou fight.

The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss shook hands warmly with the 34-year-old and appeared to be revelling in the brutality of the finish, despite Joshua's relatively subdued reaction.

To see a most fearsome fighter ruthlessly dispatched by his friend Joshua will have tasted very sweet indeed for the grinning Mourinho. Nigerian superiority has been firmly re-established on another glorious night in Saudi.
