David Adeleye has a chance at a WBO belt and intends to knock out Dmytro Bezus to get it.

English professional boxer of Nigerian descent David Adeleye has stated that he is targeting a knockout victory against Ukrainian Dmytro Bezus.

Adeleye is one of the highly-rated heavyweight boxing prospects in the United Kingdom with an unbeaten start to his professional career.

The 26-year-old Adeleye faces his toughest test yet against the older Bezus after 10 straight victories.

Adeleye and Bezus came face to face at their press conference for the fight in London.

The fight is sanctioned by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and is going to be a platform for Adeleye and Bezus to step up.

Adeleye and Bezus contest for the vacant WBO European heavyweight title.

Despite the belt at stake, getting a knockout against Bezus is the priority for Adeleye.

He said, "I'm ready to rock and roll um done the training now all the hard work's done like they all say it's cliche we've got a guy there to have some fun.

British professional boxer of Nigerian descent David Bankole Adeleye is set to return to the ring in February.

"It's like man it's my first turn around though um so kind of prolonging around you know um just seeing how I was in the later on staying sharp um being smart

"Same old big thing no same old Big D you know um you know it's like people tuning in to watch heavyweight, they want to see destruction and they want to see people getting knocked out

"I sort of say I'm the man that delivers that so uh tomorrow night I'll definitely deliver it as well."

Adeleye takes on Bezus at York Hall in London, England early on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
