NBA Playoffs: Thunder blow out Grizzlies, Celtics hold off Magic

In Game 1 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 131-80 on Sunday.

Chet Holmgren finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Jalen Williams scored 20 points.

With a league-best 68-14 record at the end of the regular season, Oklahoma City appeared to be a strong contender for the title.

Seven points short of the record, the margin was 51 points and the fifth-largest victory margin in NBA postseason history.

Ja Morant only made 6 of 17 shots to score 17 points for Memphis.

Jaren Jackson Jr. scored four points on 2-for-13 shooting, averaging just over 22 points during the regular season.

Despite Marvin Bagley III's 17 points, the Grizzlies' total shooting percentage was only 34.4%.

Derrick White scored 30 points, Jayson Tatum finished with 17 points, and the Boston Celtics defeated the Orlando Magic 103-86 in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday.

Payton Pritchard scored 19 points off the bench while Jaylen Brown played 31 minutes and finished with 16 points on 6-of-14 shooting.

The Magic were led by Paolo Banchero, who finished with 36 points and 11 rebounds.

Orlando, which hasn't advanced past the first round of the playoffs since the 2009–10 campaign, got 23 points from Franz Wagner.
