The New York Knicks overcome a 20-point deficit once more to defeat the Boston Celtics 91-90, taking a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Mikal Bridges scored all 14 of his points in the fourth quarter before making his second consecutive game-winning steal.

With 12.7 seconds remaining, Jalen Brunson made two free throws and scored 17 points to put New York ahead 91-90.

Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 21 points and 17 rebounds, and Josh Hart finished with 23 points for the Knicks, who will host Game 3 on Saturday.

After hitting 15 for 60 in Game 1, the Celtics were 10 for 40 from 3-point range, with Derrick White and Jaylen Brown scoring 20 points each.

Thunder beat Nuggets

In Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinal series against the Denver Nuggets, the Oklahoma City Thunder scored 87 points in the first half, setting an NBA playoff record.
