Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo left the Milwaukee Bucks’ win over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday after an Achilles injury.

The Milwaukee Bucks are concerned about the condition of star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo after he left Tuesday's win over the Celtics holding his calf.

The Bucks secured a 104-91 victory at Fiserv Forum, maintaining their position in second place in the Eastern Conference behind the Celtics.

However, the win was somewhat dampened by the injury to power forward Antetokounmpo.

After the game, head coach Doc Rivers said Antetokounmpo would have an MRI scan to determine the extent of the injury, which has been described as a “strained soleus,” but didn’t sound especially confident that good news would be on its way.

“The concern level is high, I would say that. He’s Giannis. I think everyone probably feels the same way as I do right now. So, we’re just gonna hope for the best.”

Will Giannis miss the playoffs?

The first round of the NBA playoffs begins April 20. Depending on how quickly first-round matchups are decided, the conference semifinals begin either May 4-5 or May 6-7.

The conference finals are scheduled to begin May 21-22 but could move to May 19-20 pending conference semifinal results.

With there being no timeline on the Bucks' star's recovery, the hope is that he returns before the end of the first round.
