A barrage of free throws from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander powered the Thunder to beat the Pacers in Game 4 and tie the NBA Finals.
However, it was not Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the league MVP, who carried the team in Game 5.
It was instead Jalen Williams, a forward, who exploded for 40 points, making 14 of 25 field goal attempts and converting 9 of 12 free throws. Williams scored a career-high of 41 points.

Despite this, Gilgeous-Alexander managed to perform well, amassing 31 points, 10 assists, and four blocks with a shooting record of 9 out of 21 and free throw success of 13 out of 14.
Aaron Wiggins scored 14 and Cason Wallace added 11, providing crucial points off the bench while no other starter surpassed ten points.
Indiana's stars had mixed fortunes as Pascal Siakam scored 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting, while Tyrese Haliburton, who is said to be suffering from a lower-leg injury, managed only four points.

With four rebounds, four assists, and two steals to go along with 18 bench points on 8-of-14 shooting, T.J. McConnell came close to hero status.
Obi Toppin contributed 12 points off the bench, while Aaron Nesmith and Myles Turner scored 14 and 13 points, respectively. They were among the other Pacers players who reached double digits in scoring.
Oklahoma City can win the NBA title in Game 6 scheduled for Indiana.
