World 60m champion Christian Coleman has joined the growing list of athletics faithful who believe Sha'Carri Richardson's recent buzz as the face of track and field is good for the sport.
After winning the world 100m title in Budapest last year, the world's fastest woman's success off-track has seen her rise to the top as the face of the sport alongside Noah Lyles, and it pleases Coleman to see her excel at the highest level.

"She's special. And I think she's somebody who's just at the forefront of women empowering women in sports, just like taking it to a whole different level," said the 60m World Record holder during the press conference for the Xiamen Diamond League.

Coleman further stated that Richardson has the qualities to propel the sport forward and is a big fan of her accomplishments.
