Enekwechi is in a fantastic form, after equalling his indoor PB at a meet in Prague, Czech Republic.

In his second meet of the season, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi equalled his indoor Personal Best (PB) of 21.20m for a second-place finish at the Hvezdy v Nehvizdech Sportoni Hala meet in the Czech Republic.

Homeboy Tomas Stanek won the event with a Meeting Record (MR) of 21.45m on his last attempt to secure the win.

Enekwechi started well with a throw of 21.16m on his first attempt before improving to 21.20m on his third attempt, which was the leading mark until Stanek came through on his final throw.

The National Record (NR) holder took to his Instagram page to post afterward: "Personal Best!! 21.20m. Another meet, another solid performance but this time in Prague, Czech Republic!! That was good for second. Building toward a strong year," Enekwechi wrote.

His consistent performance shows he is having a fantastic start to the 2023 season after beginning his season two weeks ago, throwing a brilliant PB of 21.20m at the American Track League.

Enekwechi's PB mark is currently second on the Nigerian all-time indoor list, behind Josh Awotunde's 21.33m recorded in 2018 and ahead of Stephen Mozia's 21.18m back in 2016.

He has been Nigeria and Africa's most consistent Shot Put thrower in the past five years, and has also won all continental and national titles available at his disposal, throwing record-breaking times to follow them up.
