Diego Lopes defeated Sodiq Yusuff at UFC 300 to win his third straight bout.

On Saturday, April 13, the two faced off live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in the preliminary card match.

The contest, which was supposed to last three rounds, ended prematurely.

After dropping his Nigerian opponent with an uppercut in the clinch, the Brazilian featherweight pursued him to the mat and finished with punches.

The bout was interrupted by referee Mark Smith at 1 minute and 29 seconds into the opening round.

Diego Lopes improved to 24-6 with the TKO win. The 29-year-old leaped over the cage and spoke with UFC President Dana White as soon as the fight was stopped.

With two victories in about ninety seconds to close off 2023, Lopes maintained his winning streak here, bringing it to three, and probably punching his ticket into the Top 15.
