From Ibadan to Serbia, Beavers Elite crowned Red Bull Half Court National champions, to represent Nigeria in Serbia.
The Red Bull Half Court final qualifiers brought together eight teams from Abuja, Owerri, Ibadan, Lagos Mainland, and Lagos Island for the Finals held at the Palms on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The 3-on-3 basketball tournament was a spectacle that would see Beavers Elite of Ibadan crowned champions and represent the country at the World Finals in Belgrade, Serbia, in September 2023.
The Eight teams that made it to the final include The Titans, the Wildcats, the Orange Room, Brave Heart, AJI Funds, Beavers Elite, Kingsmen, and the Combatants.
The games started off with the quarterfinals, where four teams were knocked out from each of the four regions.
The Wildcats, Brave Heart, Beavers Elite, and Kingsmen, the reigning champions from 2021, went straight to the semi-finals.
The games were intense despite a stoppage due to the weather, and players put their all on the court.

In the semifinals, the WildCats defeated Brave Heart 11-7, while the Beavers recorded a 7-5 win against the Kingsmen.
Beavers Elite of Ibadan defeated the Wildcats of Abuja 12-11 to be crowned the 2023 Red Bull Half Court Nigeria winners in an intense final.
Along with the Spartans from Nile University, the Beavers Elite would represent the nation in Serbia.
