Seyi Jhonson, President Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball Federation

Johnson revealed that the just completed Betking 33 championship in Abeokuta was held to identify young, bright athletes who would be invited to camp before to the All Africa Games in Ghana.

“These guys have been away from activities, and most of them have gone back to street begging, so immediately we came to office, we activated the series of competitions for them.

“Without these players, there’s no federation. That is why their welfare will be our number one priority.
