Paul Pogba has declared support for Patrice Evra's MMA debut

Former French international Paul Pogba attended a training session of his friend Patrice Evra, who is preparing for his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut.

The 43-year-old is set to fight in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) on May 23, with his opponent yet to be announced.

Evra, who retired from football in 2019, has expressed interest in facing Luis Suarez, with whom he was involved in a racism row in 2011.

Meanwhile, Pogba has been without a club since his Juventus contract was terminated in November.

Pogba's future in football remains uncertain due to an 18-month ban for doping, reduced from four years following an appeal. Despite this, he has been training in Miami, working on his fitness.

The friendship between Pogba and Evra dates back to 2009, when Pogba joined Manchester United's academy.
