Liverpool's Argentinian footballer Alexis Mac Allister faces a lawsuit from his ex-partner, Camila Mayan.

Camila Mayan is demanding 5.3 million euros in compensation from Alexis Mac Allister for the years they spent together abroad.

Their five-year relationship ended shortly after Mac Allister won the World Cup with Argentina in 2022.

According to Mayan, the footballer cheated on her and left her to start a relationship with his new partner, Ailen Covuová. This information was reported by the Daily Mail, via Abola.

Mayan argues that she suffered losses during their life together abroad and is therefore demanding $250,000 for each month they lived together.

"I overcame my mother's cancer, but not what he did to me. I'm still processing everything I found out on television," Mayan stated in an interview on the program 'A la Tarde.'

Mac Allister publicly addressed the matter for the first time in November 2024. In a brief statement to the press, he said: "The relationship ended. She went her way, I went mine. And as for the lawsuit, everything is in court, that's where it should be handled. We have to wait."

Regarding the accusations of betrayal and infidelity, he calmly responded: "It's normal for everyone to see things differently. She decided to make something public, but I know how things happened, and therefore, I'm at peace."

Meanwhile, the footballer announced that he is expecting a child with his new girlfriend, Ailen Covuová.

The two were together at Anfield during Liverpool's Premier League title celebrations.
