As speculation mounts ahead of the January transfer window, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly encouraged his international teammate Ademola Lookman to consider a move to Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray.
Lookman, who has been the subject of transfer rumours following a turbulent summer, is heavily linked with an exit from Serie A club Atalanta.
Galatasaray has emerged as a frontrunner for the forward's signature, a move that would see the two Super Eagles stars unite at the club level.

AFCON 2025: Victor Osimhen sends serious message to fans in Morocco
Nigeria's main man just made things personal. Victor Osimhen has sent a powerful message to Super Eagles supporters who've traveled to Morocco for AFCON 2025, and the emotion behind his words has fans even more hyped for what's coming.
What Osimhen told Lookman
According to a report from Turkish outlet A Spor, Osimhen personally endorsed the Istanbul club, telling Lookman it would be an ideal destination for him.
"If you want to come, Galatasaray is a great home and would be the right place for you," Osimhen is quoted as saying to his national team colleague.
Osimhen himself has become a fan favourite at Galatasaray since making his move permanent in the summer after a successful loan spell.
The 26-year-old has been in sensational form for the Turkish champions, netting 12 goals in 16 appearances across all competitions this season.
Meanwhile, Lookman is finding his form again after a slow start to the current campaign. The winger has notched two goals and an assist in his last five games for Atalanta, showing glimpses of the performances that made him a standout player in Serie A last season.
Both players are currently on international duty with Nigeria in Morocco, preparing for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Osimhen and Lookman are expected to be key figures as the Super Eagles chase their fourth continental championship.
