Nigeria secured seven points from three matches, edging Burkina Faso, who also have seven points but scored fewer goals after a narrow 1-0 win over Niger in their final group game.
Consequently, runners-up Burkina Faso will meet Ghana in the other semi-final on Saturday.

Golden Eaglets: Nigeria's U17s given all-clear to defend WAFU title after passing age test
Nigeria's Golden Eaglets have passed CAF MRI tests without problems and are now set to begin their title defence in Ghana.
