Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal with Juventus for Dejan Kulusevski who was loaned to Spurs last season.

The Swedish international signed with Tottenham in January 2022, but despite a promising start for the north London club, he has struggled with form this season due to injury, scoring just twice for Tottenham in 2022–23.

His early performance last season has caused the board to try and negotiate a permanent deal with Juventus.

The deal for the winger is set to be a reduced £25 million fee and Tottenham are close to agreeing on a permanent deal for him.

Kulusevski deal almost agreed

According to reports from Daily Mail, Kulusevski's move to Tottenham is almost agreed by both clubs.

Kulusevski acknowledged at the end of May that he was unsure of where he would begin the following season, he said, 'I don't know honestly… we will see.

As it stands, both clubs are almost at the finish line of a deal that will make Kulusevski switch to Tottenham permanently.

Daniel Levy is eager to secure the best possible price for the valuable player and to take advantage of Juventus' financial difficulties.

Tottenham looking at other targets

Spurs are also looking to bring in other players as they look at other transfer targets before the start of the new season.

Tosin Adarabioyo, a defender for Fulham, has also drawn interest from Spurs as Davinson Sanchez pushes to depart.

Adarabioyo was prepared to depart the club, according to a report from Daily Mail on Thursday, after failing to reach an agreement on fresh terms with the Cottagers.

Fulham already exercised the player's contract extension clause to retain him in West London until 2024, preventing the club from losing him as a free agent this transfer window.

Spurs are also keen on Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes at Leicester as they look to reinforce for next season.
