Chukwueze joined Villarreal in 2018 and has been on the rise since he broke into the first team the same year.

However, the Nigerian attacker is having his best season yet with the Yellow Submarines this year.

Chukwueze has scored 13 goals and recorded another 11 assists in 49 matches for Villarreal this season.
His form has now caught the attention of Real Madrid, who are reportedly considering making a move for the Nigerian attacker.

However, Chukwueze insists he is not paying attention to the rumours, saying his focus is solely on Villarreal.

When asked about the Real Madrid links, Chukwueze told El Pais: “That’s just noise. My dream is to play again in Europe with Villarreal. I have a contract until 2024, and I hope not to be free. The Roigs have behaved very well with me. They are like my family. The right thing is for me to leave good money in this club.”
It is not only Real Madrid interested in the Nigerian. Chukwueze has also been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Newcastle and Everton reportedly interested in his services.
