Atalanta manager Ivan Juric has identified the subpar form of his key forwards, including Nigerian international Ademola Lookman, as a primary reason for the team's recent difficulties in finding the net.
The Italian side are the only unbeaten team in the Serie A, but have played more draws than wins.
On Saturday, they played to another 1-1 draw with Cremonese at the Zini Stadium, continuing their streak of drawn matches.
The result highlighted the team's offensive struggles, having scored just twelve goals in their first eight matches of the season.

Lookman is usually devastating — Atalanta boss defends goal-shy Super Eagles star
Atalanta boss Ivan Juric has guaranteed that star forward Ademola Lookman will return to his best form after a difficult spell since returning to the team.
Juric speaks on poor form
The manager explained that a mix of issues has contributed to the team's lack of clinical finishing, with Lookman's slow start being a significant factor.
"It's a bit of everything. Right now, we're lacking a bit of polish, there's no denying it," Juric stated, as reported by Tuttoatalanta.
"We're gradually reintroducing Scamacca, and each time he's growing a little more. Lookman, after a difficult summer, is working to regain his form.”
"These are players who in previous years made the difference and won games, but today they're not yet at their best, and that's having an impact," he added.
"But the team, overall, makes few or no mistakes: they create plenty of chances, play, fight, but can't convert all that into goals. It's a question of brilliance, not quality or commitment."
Lookman has yet to record a goal or an assist in his six appearances for the club this season, with his form dipping.
As the campaign progresses, Lookman will be under pressure to rediscover the form that made him a vital part of the Bergamo side's ambitions.
