Mustapha emphasized the importance of learning from such games, particularly given that it was their first encounter of the season.

According to him, “In a game like this, those are games that we need to learn from. We learned a lot from this game, being our opening game. There are so many things we are still trying to perfect. Unfortunately, we lost a penalty that would have given us the lead. It really shows that before the final blast of the whistle, we just need to continue to score more so that we’ll edge the opponent by far.”

“We recruited some boys, but recruiting players does not play a significant factor. We have been teaching them the same way we have been teaching others. So, recruiting into the team, we just want to play the same way we know how to play.”

Valiant will travel to Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne for a date against Beyond Limits in the second game of the season.
