Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nigeria international striker Tolu Arokodare has been included in the Premier League's lowest-rated Team of the Season so far.

Arokodare joined the Molineux club during the summer transfer window after an impressive season in Belgium.

He finished as the Jupiler Pro League's top scorer with 21 goals in 40 games and was awarded the Ebony Shoe, an honour given to the best player of African origin in Belgium.

However, his transition to the Premier League has been difficult, having failed to get into Wolves' starting eleven.

Arokodare's poor debut season

Arokodare has been listed among the lowest-rated players in the Premier League this season, according to football statistics website WhoScored.com.

With a performance rating of just 5.98, Arokodare holds the lowest score among all outfield players in the XI.

The selection highlights a challenging start to his career in England, with the forward yet to find the net in seven league appearances for Wolves.

The team is based on performance data gathered over the initial months of the 2025-26 campaign.

It has been a tough season for Wolves, who are still without a league victory. The club's struggles are reflected in the team, with goalkeeper José Sá and defender Toti Gomes also featuring alongside Arokodare.

The rest of the underperforming lineup includes a mix of players from across the league, with Brentford's Aaron Hickey and Keane Lewis-Potter joining Fulham's Issa Diop in defence.

The midfield consists of Leeds United duo Ao Tanaka and Daniel James, Everton's Carlos Alcaraz, and Fulham's Adama Traoré.

Partnering Arokodare in the two-man attack is Liverpool's high-profile summer signing, Alexander Isak.
