'Make sure they keep laughing together' - Bayer Leverkusen tell Liverpool after selling two key players
Leverkusen acknowledges the departures of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz and have advised Liverpool to keep them smiling.
What Frimpong said
"It won't be easy, but this is Liverpool - a massive club that wins trophies for a reason. If you play here, you have to perform. I believe in myself. I'm a winner, and that's what I bring here," the right-back stated in an interview with Sky Sports, via Sportal.
"The Premier League is the best in the world. I grew up in Manchester and always wanted to return to England. That was my plan. I won a title with Leverkusen and I'm thrilled to be back in a team with big ambitions like Liverpool.

"I was watching them on TV not long ago, and now I'm part of the team, which is hard to believe. The manager has already told me how I can contribute and how much he rates me as a player. That's extra motivation," he added.
Frimpong also expressed his delight at continuing to play alongside Florian Wirtz: "Florian is my friend. He's also a winner, and a very special player. You'll love him. I don't need to say more; you'll see. He doesn't buckle under pressure; he thrives in it."
