RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo funny reaction after trying fufu and plantain

Spain's Dani Olmo had a timeout with teammate Henrichs to try new things after leading RB Leipzig to a comfortable win in the Bundesliga.

A funny video of Spain international Dani Olmo trying a Ghanaian delicacy with his teammate Benjamin Henrichs has made its way to social media. 

The video followed Olmo’s latest masterclass for German club RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga at the Red Bell Arena at the weekend.

Olmo was in inspired form as Leipzig sealed their first win of the season in excellent fashion after a comprehensive 5-1 thrashing of VfB Stuttgart.

The 25-year-old has had an impressive start to the season for the German Cup Kings. 

Olmo was one of the scorers as Leipzig put behind them the disappointment from the season opener against Bayer Leverkusen.

He scored the second goal of the to put RB 2-1 one after latching on to a good pass from man of the match, Xavi Simons, who scored one and assisted two of the goals. 

It was Olmo’s second goal of the season following the goal he scored in the defeat to Leverkusen last weekend.

Dani celebrates with Henrichs

After a good day at the office, Olmo was taken out to try some Ghanaian food by his teammate, Henrichs, who also scored against Stuttgart to open his season’s account.

Henrichs watched as his Spanish teammate tried Ghanaian fufu and plantain, with Olmo’s reaction telling the story.

“Dani Olmo, Dani Olmo, you chop plantain, you chop fufu,” Henrichs chorused amidst laughter has Olmo went for the kill in the video posted by eurofootcom.

“I am dead,” he added. “This brother is from Ghana, straight from Accra,” the fullback concluded while still laughing.
