Iheanacho is currently playing in England’s second division, but he could get an immediate chance to play in the Premier League again.

Super Eagles and Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho could be on his way to the Premier League this summer.

Iheanacho is currently on the books of Leicester, having joined the club from Manchester City for €27.70m in 2017.

Crystal Palace offer Iheanacho Premier League return

The Nigeria international has represented the Foxes in the English top flight until this season following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League last campaign.

However, Iheanacho could get an immediate chance to return to England’s top division, with Crystal Palace reportedly interested in his services.

According to the Sun, Palace have inquired about Iheanacho’s services and could make a move for him before the transfer window closes on September 1.

Palace’s coach Royo Hodgson is looking to add more firepower to his side’s attack, and Iheanacho fits the role of the player he wants.

The Super Eagles star has enough Premier League experience with 42 goals and 28 assists in 196 matches.

Iheanacho open to Palace move

However, the Eagles may have to pay a fee in the region of €18.00m if they want to sign the Super Eagles star.

Iheanacho would be open to the move, though, as he has never been the main man at Leicester City despite his impressive displays.

Also, the chance to play in the biggest league in the world is tempting for the Super Eagles star.

The former Manchester City man has played in all of Leicester City’s four matches this season, starting three and coming on as a sub in one.

Iheanacho still has one year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
