André Onana is once again under heavy scrutiny. The Manchester United and Cameroon goalkeeper made a costly error in Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde and later became embroiled in an incident with a supporter.
Cameroon suffered a 1-0 defeat, partly due to Onana's late charge from his goal and then diving the wrong way on a shot from former MVV forward Dailon Livramento.
For Cape Verde, the result brings their World Cup dream closer, while Cameroon faces an uphill battle with two matches remaining.

Relief for Manchester United fans: Andre Onana heads to Trabzonspor to complete move
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to join Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan, according to exclusive reports from leading sports media outlets in the UK and Europe.
Onana battles enraged supporter
After the final whistle, tensions escalated. Fans swarmed the pitch, eager to snap selfies with the much-discussed goalkeeper.
Footage circulating on social media, as reported by Abola, shows Onana pushing a supporter away. Moments later, a bottle was even thrown in his direction.
According to a source close to the keeper, Onana's actions were primarily driven by fear for his safety. "The pitch was completely overrun. He wanted to get to the dressing room as quickly as possible," the source stated. Later, at the airport, he was again met by numerous fans seeking photos.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper is enduring a challenging period. At Manchester United, he has lost his starting position to Altay Bayındır, following a series of costly errors. For instance, he misjudged a simple cross against fourth-tier side Grimsby in the EFL Cup, allowing the lower-league team to score and ultimately eliminate United.
Earlier this year, he also made several blunders in the Premier League with questionable interventions. The club further strengthened its goalkeeping ranks with the addition of Senne Lammens, leaving Onana's future in England uncertain. English media are even reporting talks of a temporary transfer to Trabzonspor.
In their remaining matches, Cameroon can count on striker Bryan Mbeumo, who transferred to Manchester United this summer. The team hopes to win their final two games to qualify for next year's World Cup. For Onana, these matches are particularly crucial: he must demonstrate both athletically and mentally that he can still be a reliable shot-stopper.
