Both sides are looking to improve their positions on the table in Group A of the abridged season, but what do the numbers say of the two teams so far this season?

The numbers game

  • 0 - Remo Stars are one of the few teams who are yet to concede a single goal this season at home in the Football League.

The Sky Blues have played three games at the Remo Stadium, winning all the games with clean sheets. But can they make it four in four?

Remo Stars have conceded zero goals at home this season.

Their visitors, United, have promised to put an end to their impregnable start to the season at home.

“We invade the impregnable fortress of @RemoStarsSC in search of three valuable points,” the club said in a tweet.

  • 2 - This is the number of points that separate both giants on the Group A. Remo currently sit third with 12 points while Plateau are two points adrift in fifth.

“Our gallant gladiators will display their gallantry to dim the infantry stars of Remoland,” Plateau United added.

Plateau United coach Fidelis Ilechukwu and his boys are battle ready to dent Remo's home record.
  • 9 - Plateau United have scored nine goals this season in six matches, making them one of the top-scoring sides in the division.

Only Enyimba, who have played a game more, have scored more goals than the Tin City Boys.

  • 3 - Remo and Plateau go into this encounter with an identical form in their last five matches. Both teams have won three and lost two in that time.

This particular fixture has not entertained the NPFL, having produced just three goals in the last three matches.
