The 22-year-old has been one of the standout performers of the season so far in the football league.

Bendel Insurance forward Imade Osarenkhoe has been in the news and for the right reasons following his impressive performance in the Nigeria Premier Football league, NPFL.

With all eyes on him now following his superb performances so far, a foremost Nigerian journalist and CEO of Elegbete TV & Radio, Edafe Matthew EseOghene, has hinted that the Insurance forward is worth $5 million.

Osarenkhoe has been a revelation in the league this season as his goals have taken newly promoted Insurance to the top of the table in Group A, with EseOghene taking to his social media page to react following Oserenkhoe's latest outing in the NPFL on Sunday.

Edafe Matthew believes Oserenkhoe is worth $5m at the moment.

"Are we going to pretend that (Imade) Osarenkhoe is not in the $5 million valuation?'' he asked.

Osarenkhoe's form

Osarenkhoe came into the consciousness of NPFL followers after he became the first player to score in the 2023 NPFL abridged season.

His goal on the opening day of the season inspired newly promoted Insurance to a shock 2-0 win over former champions Akwa United in Uyo back in January.

Imade Oserenkhoe's six goals in nine matches this season have fired Bendel Insurance to the top of Group A.

He went on to announce himself further with a goal in each of his next three matches as Bendel Insurance moved top of the table following a four-match winning run.

"Special shout out to former Bendel Insurance captain Lucky Idahosa for fishing the Uniben student for the game," EseOghene added.

Emotional reunion with former coach

After nine matches, Osarenkhoe has added two more goals to his tally this season for Insurance.

His latest goal came on Sunday when the Benin Arsenals hosted eight-time Nigerian champions Enyimba International at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Oserenkhoe and his former boss share a special moment on Sunday.

The forward fired his sixth goal of the season to help his club to a seventh win in nine matches, with a special guest in the stadium.

Osarenkhoe was reunited with his former coach at the University of Benin, Uniben, coach Lucky Idahosa, who groomed the talented forward during their time together in Uniben.

After nine matches, Osarenkhoe is just one goal shy of top scorer Emeka Obioma of Enyimba, who has scored seven goals but was expertly caged in Benin on the day.
