Manchester United's owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, dashed through the London Marathon just hours ahead of his team's crucial FA Cup semi-final clash.

The Red Devils are set to face Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final clash as they look to salvage their disappointing season with a trophy.

However, it was Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s participation in the London marathon race that got a lot of Man United fans wowed.

The 71-year-old, facing a race against the clock, aimed to surpass his personal best of four hours and 32 minutes, with his eyes set on reaching Wembley in time for the second half of the game.

Videos capturing Ratcliffe's marathon journey have surfaced, drawing both admiration and humour from fans, as reported by Daily Mail.

As Ratcliffe pushes the limits of speed and stamina, speculation looms over his arrival time at Wembley Stadium, where Manchester United is set to face Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final at 15:30.

With a typical drive from Buckingham Palace to Wembley taking approximately 35 minutes, the timing of Ratcliffe's arrival remains uncertain.

Social media erupted with praise for Ratcliffe's efforts, alongside witty remarks poking fun at Manchester United players.

"This is the run that Sancho couldn't make!" quipped one user, targeting loanee Jadon Sancho.

Another took aim at Marcus Rashford, jesting, "Runs more than Rashford."

Even Luke Shaw wasn't spared, as Theory United cheekily declared, "Ratcliffe was fitter than the Man United left-back."

Should Erik ten Hag's squad emerge victorious against Coventry City, a tantalizing final against Manchester City awaits.
