Liverpool dominated the match, with goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Harvey Elliott securing a convincing victory.

Despite a heavy defeat against Liverpool which all but extinguishes Tottenham's Champions League hopes, Son Heung-Min remains optimistic about the team's future.

During the encounter at Anfield, Liverpool dominated the match, with goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Harvey Elliott securing a convincing victory.

The win puts Liverpool within striking distance of the top two, just five points behind leaders Arsenal and four behind Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

Although Son and Richarlison managed to pull two goals back for Spurs, it wasn't enough to salvage any point. The defeat leaves Tottenham in fifth place, with their Champions League aspirations hanging by a thread.

However, Son has refused to let the defeat dampen his spirits. He maintained that the team is still on track, suggesting they will focus on their remaining goals.

"In football you think about start of season when we play well and everyone joy there was no pressure," Son said.

"Now is the time everyone has to step up, as I say before this is time to be stronger and get it together because when every thing goes well its easy but now a tough moment.

"We are definitely on right track, don't get me wrong four games adds to this pain but we have to work to get better.

"Everyone wants to play Champions League. Three games to go and we have to give it everything, keep believing in our game and give everything."
