‘Let him score 40 goals’ - Turkish legend accuses Galatasaray coach of being unfair to Osimhen

Ex-Besiktas midfielder Sinan Engin claims that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has treated Victor Osimhen unfairly.

His comment was made following the dismissal of the Nigerian striker's individual brilliance this season.

The Nigerian star has changed what it means to be a striker, with his contributions to the team's progress.

Osimhen's impressive goalscoring record has positioned the Lion as the favourite to secure victories in both the Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.

Recent remarks from Buruk seemingly minimising Osimhen's significance have drawn criticism and provoked negative reactions from football analysts and supporters.

According to habersarikirmizi.com, Sinan Engin said, "Let Osimhen score 40 goals and break records because Osimhen deserves all the praise.

"I'm tired of praising Osimhen every week! Osimhen's performance destroyed the perception of structure.

"Does anyone say structure? Osimhen destroyed that too. He said, 'There is no structure, I exist.'"

Engin identified Osimhen as Galatasaray's most significant recent acquisition. He also commended the fanbase for their contribution to securing Mario Lemina's arrival.

He added, "The fans bought Lemina. I congratulate the Galatasaray fans. He is the best transfer after Osimhen and Davinson Sanchez.”

The forward has enjoyed a remarkable season, netting 33 goals across all competitions and surpassing his previous highest goal tally in a single campaign.
