Igor Tudor, Marseille manager, is apparently being considered by Juventus as a possible replacement for Massimiliano Allegri should he leave the club this summer.

Allegri's time at Juventus may be coming to an end with the Old Lady expected to finish third in the league and were eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage.

According to rumours, Juventus may also be excluded from the European tournament next season, which might make Allegri consider his future at the club.

Juventus having multiple options

Juventus are preparing themselves for Allegri’s departure if he leaves at the end of the season with the likes of Zinedine Zidane or Antonio Conte linked with the position.

Following reports that Zindane was thinking about going back to France to become a manager and preferred Juventus, the Frenchman has recently been linked with a move to the Old Lady.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus may approach Tudor about the managerial role if the price for their prospective managers are high.

Tudor career

Tudor served as an assistant manager at Juventus under Andrea Pirlo from 2020 to 2021. However, they were fired at the conclusion of that campaign.

He then moved to Verona before taking charge of Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille in 2021 with the 45-year-old impressing at Stade Vélodrome as they sit in second place in the league.

Given that the Marseille coach has a contract with Marseille that runs through the summer of 2024, it is believed that Tudor is a more viable option to lead Juventus.
