Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu is receiving high praise from his former teammate
Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has received high praise from his former teammate at Midtjylland where he played for seven years.
Danish winger Gustav Isaksen has namedropped Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu as the best player he has played with.
The Denmark under-21 international Isaksen is one of Midtjylland's key players at the moment but he reminisces on the time spent with Onuachu as "magical."
Paul Onuachu receives high praise
Isaksen made the revelation in an interview with Danish website, Tipsbladket despite only being a youth team player when Onuachu was in the team.

"I would say it is Paul Onuachu," the 21-year-old responded emphatically when asked who the best player he ever played with is.
"When I came up to the first team squad, he was a striker in the team. I just think he was magical. His finishes and in the possession game he was really good," the young Dane continued.
Isaksen went into more detail about the part of Onuachu's game that impressed him as a youngster at Midtjylland.
"You might not expect it, but he is just a good player. My very first training match, it was with him as a striker. It was just a great experience," the Midtjylland star said.

Onuachu was a Midtjylland player from 2012 to 2019 and he managed 74 goals in 181 games for the club which landed him a move to Belgian side KRC Genk.
The big Nigerian is now on the books of Premier League club Southampton after making a deadline day transfer to the club in the January window.
