Mikel Arteta has read the riot act to Viktor Gyokeres, with the Swede on an eight-game goalscoring drought for club and country.
"Gyokeres is not in the league of the three we showed in the previous clip [Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe], far from that," Shearer said.
Despite the modest goal tally, the Premier League's all-time top scorer believes Gyokeres's overall contribution has been a net positive for the Gunners, particularly in creating space for his teammates.

Despite Viktor Gyokeres' superb start to life at the Emirates, an ex-Arsenal star still has doubts
"But I think he brings a different strength. There’s no doubt that he will have to improve his goalscoring, as you said, he has only got three. When you are running the other way, they get deeper and deeper, and that then opens up space for others to play. I think from that point of view, he has improved Arsenal," Shearer continued.
Shearer concluded with a firm prediction that the goals will come for the striker, even if he doesn't replicate the prolific numbers from his previous season.
