Clark Oduor provided his third assist of the season which proved vital in giving Bradford all the three points at Sutton’s expense.

Harambee Stars midfielder Clarke Oduor was on song as Bradford City overcame Sutton 2-0 in an EFL League Two fixture played on Saturday.

Oduor provided an assist to cap off an excellent performance playing on the right side of a front three.

He took his man on excellently and was accurate with most of his crossing, and also produced two shots on target from three attempts.

Calum Kavanagh was the player that got on the end of Oduor’s assist to give them all the three points and keep their promotion playoff hopes alive.

Oduor has scored thrice and created three assists in 21 league appearances for Bradford this season.

Oduor, a versatile player capable of operating as a winger, wing-back, or full-back, joined Bradford City following his release from Barnsley.

The Kenyan international was the club's first major signing of the summer, marking a promising start to the transfer window for the team.

The 24-year-old footballer had previously graduated from Leeds United's academy in 2017 before moving to South Yorkshire in 2019.

During his time at Barnsley, Oduor made a total of 57 appearances for the club, leaving a significant impact on their performances.

One of his standout moments occurred during the final day of the 2019/20 season when he scored a crucial goal against Brentford. This goal secured Barnsley's position in the second tier for another year, highlighting Oduor's ability to perform under pressure.

In the previous season, Oduor spent a brief loan spell at Hartlepool United, featuring in 14 matches. He showcased his scoring prowess by finding the back of the net in a 2-1 defeat against Swindon Town in October.

Oduor was eligible for both the Kenyan national team and the England national team. He made his senior debut for Kenya in a 2–1 friendly win over Zambia in October 2020 and last appeared for the side against South Sudan last September.
