Multiple verdicts ranging from NPFL fixture adjustments to stadium sanctions, and even responses to appeals of already sanctioned teams, were addressed by the IMC on Wednesday.

Far-reaching disciplinary measures were rolled out by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) on Wednesday, concerning the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Multiple verdicts ranging from fixture adjustments to stadium sanctions, and even responses to appeals of already sanctioned teams, were addressed by the IMC, as the season gently gravitates towards its seventh week of action.

On game week 5, hosts El Kanemi Warriors were alleged to have been guilty of security breaches as they played host to Bendel Insurance at the El Kanemi Stadium in Maiduguri.

In regards to it, the IMC had informed the Maiduguri-based club that an inquiry into the reports of "your most recent home game" had been started and that until the investigation is completed, El Kanemi Warriors will play their future home games strictly behind closed doors.
