Nigeria's Chiamaka Nnadozie was the saviour for Paris FC once again as the French club claimed their first ever win in the UEFA Women's Champions League against Spanish giants Real Madrid

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was in the thick of things once again in the UEFA Women’s Champions League for Paris FC, helping the French side to a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid.

Nnadozie helps Paris FC past Real Madrid

Nnadozie who was the hero for Paris FC during their qualification campaign to reach the group stages of this season’s competition, was the protagonist once again as the French side claimed their first win of the tournament.

Paris FC finally claimed three points in the group stage of the competition, beating Real Madrid at the Stade Robert-Bobin in a famous result for the club.

Goals from Julie Dufour and Gaetane Thiney gave Paris an early 2-0 lead within six minutes of the start of the match, and the rest of the match saw Nnadozie keep the home side ahead.

Nnadozie heroics help Paris FC claim first-ever UWCL win

The Nigerian goalkeeper was in superb form and was on hand to show more penalty expertise by saving from the spot yet again.

Nnadozie denied Spanish World Cup winner Olga Carmona the spot in the first half to ensure that her side went into the halftime break 2-0 up.

Although Real Madrid pulled a goal back in the second half through Caroline Moller, Nnadozie and Paris FC held on to claim a historic win, their first ever in the UEFA Women’s Champions League no less.
