The striker broke a long-standing Premier League record as City beat West Ham to go above Arsenal again.
Mari has also helped his team stay in the Italian top division for the upcoming season and will join them permanently for £5.9 million at the end of the season.

Adams helped Arsenal to their first Premier League title in 1997/98 under Wenger, sealing top spot with a memorable 89th-minute goal in a 4-0 win against Everton in May 1998. The win was part of a domestic Double for Arsenal, which also featured the FA Cup.
The Italian team is currently sitting 18 points above the relegation zone with just five games remaining this season, according to a report from Football.london from the previous year, but only if Monza were able to stay up.
Mari is likely to be the first of many on-loan players to depart permanently this summer, and a number of other players are also set to leave at the end of the current campaign.

The Blues have yet to register a positive outcome since the return of the manager in interim terms.
The names of several players who are now on loan and have recently been linked with a move away from the club with the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Charlie Patino surplus to requirement.
David Ornstein of The Athletic reported on Monday that Patino, 19, was eager for regular playing time next season and that the Gunners were willing to facilitate his transfer this summer.
The Gunners defeated their London rivals Chelsea on Tuesday and are one point behind Manchester City on the league table who also have one game in hand.
With the season gradually coming to an end, Arteta’s side will be hoping Man City can slip up so they can take advantage and move back to the top of the table.
