Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem has heaped praise on Frank Onyeka following his performance against Tunisia.
Nigeria defeated Tunisia 3-2 on Saturday night in their second Group C game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations competition.
Onyeka played a key role in Nigeria's performance, holding down the midfield, making tackles and linking up play.
The win sealed the Super Eagles' passage to the round of 16, as they joined other teams in the knockout phase.

Inserted into the starting lineup by coach Eric Chelle as part of a three-man midfield, Onyeka quickly validated the decision.

Nigeria established a commanding 3-0 lead with goals from Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Ademola Lookman before Tunisia staged a late comeback.
