18-year-old James Nnaji shows growth as Barcelona beat Baskonia to win regular season.

Ahead of the upcoming ACB Playoffs, FC Barcelona held on in Vitoria-Gasteiz to secure homecourt advantage for the whole series.

In order to secure the top seed in the Liga Endesa Playoffs bracket, FC Barcelona defeated Cazoo Baskonia on Sunday, 91-84, in Fernando Buesa Arena.

Alex Abrines set a new personal best in the 2022–23 season by scoring 18 points while connecting on 6/8 of his 3-point attempts. 

Nicolas Laprovittola and Nikola Mirotic both scored 18 points in the game in Regular Season Round 33, sharing the team high with five assists and four rebounds.

After falling behind by a double-digit margin late in the third period, Baskonia reduced the gap but couldn't fully return. 

After clinching the top seed at the local level, the Sarunas Jasikevicius-led squad now has home court in the ACB and is set for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four.

Nnaji came off the bench as part of Barcelona's second unit to feature for 12 minutes.

He put up six points and two rebounds making all three shots around the basket.

The 18-year-old continues to impress scouts ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft.
