Team USA's women's 4x100m squad cruised to the final in domineering form, anchored by Sha'Carri Richardson, who stormed to a world-leading time at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships.
Competing in heat 2 and with a target to match or surpass the Jamaican women's squad, who earlier won heat 1 in an impressive 41.80s, the American quartet of Jacious Sears, Tee Tee Terry, Kayla White, and Richardson rose to the occasion as they cruised to a world-leading time of 41.60s.
Germany's Gina Luckenkemper anchored her country to the second position in a Season's Best (SB) of 41.86s, while Great Britain settled for third in 41.88s to also book their spots in the final.
