Sha'Carri Richardson and Tee Tee Terry had no hesitation in helping a Jamaican athlete Shashalee Forbes at the Miramar Invitational.

Despite Sha'Carri Richardson and Tee Tee Terry not competing at the Miramar Invitational, their act of sportsmanship to a Jamaican rival was a top highlight at the meet.

The world's fastest woman and Tee Tee Terry helped Shashalee Forbes after she pulled up injured in the 100m final, and their humble action was one of the talking points.

Forbes competed in the 100m and qualified for the final after finishing second in her heat in 11.51s. She had a good start in the first few metres of the final until she was seen limping, before struggling to walk. An official would come to her aid before Richardson and Terry stepped in and walked her through the track following her withdrawal from the final.

The Jamaican sprinter, who was part of the 4x100m silver medal-winning squad at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, expressed her gratitude to both athletes for rushing to her aid.

Richardson was initially scheduled to race in the 100m and 200m at the Miramar Invitational but withdrew two days before the meet. She and Tee Tee Terry will now focus on officially making their season's debut in the 200m event at the Xiamen Diamond League on April 20th.
